Aertight Systems will be an exhibitor in the main hall of the IoT Tech Expo in Silicon Valley this November! Aertight, along with it's partners, IoT International and DAL-Global, will exhibit the Aertight Server Platform with two major use cases.

IoT International has teamed with Aertight to integrate their system directly into their system architecture as a data aquisition, storage, and compute server which can operate in both connected and islanded mode. IoT International will demonstrate a special use case that combines a full SCADA and HMI on top of the Aertight Server Platform. IoT International already has substantial deployments across the east coast of the US, and is looking to break into the national market with the Aertight Server Platform.

DAL-Global, the developers of the revolutionary "digital twin" diverse authentication library, have chosen the Aertight Server Platform to operate as their hardware appliance in the deployment of their "Identity Management ATM" Kiosk System. DAL-Global's unique approach of combining forensic data capture (fingerprints and retina) combined with blockchain is deployed using a customized version of the Aertight Server Platform. DAL-Global chose Aertight after an exhaustive search for rugged, reliable, yet modular hardware platforms that could be used in a kiosk system.

Server problems...

Installing traditional server systems have a large number of drawbacks for clients who do not have conditioned server rooms, on-site tech support personnel, and high speed (redundant) internet access. The large manufacturers (you know who they are), hide behind 1-800 #'s 4 tiers deep, offshore tech support, and their systems are filled with cheap plastic fans and mechanical hard drives. Maybe the warranty is good, but using it every year really sucks.

In the age of cloud computing, if you're going to be running your entire operation off the cloud, you absolutely need to have redundant internet access. If you don't, what's the point of all the redundancy in the world in the datacenter, you're still down and offline if your ISP is out.

Most clients don't have conditioned server rooms, on-site tech support personnel (to, at best, call Dell), and high-speed internet access.

What they need is rugged computing to host their applications locally, with higher grade components.

Simply put, NON-Rugged computing costs you alot more than Rugged Computing in total cost of ownership.

After 15 years and countless hours of windshield time driving to remote locations, replacing fans and mechanical hard drives in traditional server systems, we decided a new type of modular and rugged server system had to be developed. Aertight built the Aertight Server Platform with that in mind.

Aertight Systems, Inc. has relocated to a larger new office space in Millersville, Md where we now have 5000sf of mixed office and warehouse space, perfect for our new projects! We're in the middle of expanding our custom manufacturing services for rugged IT network equipment, so we've purchased a batch of new hardware, more machinery to allow us to build more components locally, and added more personnel who have extensive electrical and electronics engineering experience.

The new office has a full kitchen as well!
